The seven principles of building congruency

The seven principles of building congruency

What is congruency? Congruency is doing what you say you will do, being consistent and only asking others to do what you would do yourself.

Things that describe congruent managers/owners are:  positive use of language and behavior,  positive attitude, optimism, speaking well of others, and showing up on time.
A way to train your team is to model the behavior you expect from your employees. Ask for feedback from others, and be open to ways to improve.
Communication, respect, and integrity need to be present in developing a congruent organization.
Walk the talk.
Do what you say you will do.
Treat people with respect.
Model behaviors.
Ask for feedback.
Be the leader.
Communicate.
These are the seven principles of building congruency into your business. If you follow these principles you can expect higher morale, a stronger culture, and increased profitability.  It’s up to you.  If you need help, give us a call at Lighthouse Strategic Partners 508-946-2655.
